What is Chevy Super Cruise?

Super Cruise is all about enhancing the hands-free driving experience under safe conditions wherein the driver is attentive to the hands-free operation of their Chevy Silverado. Through OnStar®* integration, Super Cruise reads cameras, sensors, and navigation haptics from GPS and LiDAR maps to drive on curving roads and long commutes–all in real time. Super Cruise features include the following under the proper conditions and with all necessary outfitting:

• 200,000+ miles of compatible roads in both Canada and the U.S.**
• Lane-centering
• Available Super Cruise™ trailering feature (including Automatic Lane Change and Lane-Change on Demand)

Super Cruise™ with trailering is an incredible innovation, with the ability to detect your compatible trailer and automatically adjust the gap between you and the vehicle ahead of you after analyzing traffic patterns.

There’s also an enhanced version of Super Cruise technology in the works that brings all Super-Cruise™-with-trailering features to future 2024 Silverado EV models. The enhanced version offers these updates:

• Automatic Lane Change
• Trailering
• Driver attention system
• Driver-facing camera
